I'm in love.

It's been a few months, so journal update time!

The biggest thing that's happened since my last update is that [link] and I have broken up. Things weren't working out and it's much better off this way. At this point, I'm not speaking to him...it's a shame but he went and messed up any degree of a relationship we could ever have. So that's over.

I'm still going to school, still working on becoming a Zoo Science major. I've expanded my career/life goals to including saving the Amur leopard population, and eventually working on a big cat sanctuary or along with various activist groups to save animals worldwide. (For example, [link] - help stop Japan's slaughter of 23,000 dolphins and small whales every year!)

For those parties interested, I do still play World of Warcraft. It's currently my biggest connection to my peers, who I'm naturally shy and untalkative around. And besides that, it's fun!

I've been writing lightly again. That's probably the best thing I say in regards to being in school - definitely makes me want to write. The stuff I've been writing is actually all old, but handwritten. I've been typing it up. It's all also dark, sexual, and very twisted. So I'm not sure it's going to ever come onto DA.

Uhhh....I'm going to Pittsburgh this weekend! Woo!

So I've decided to go ahead and chase my dreams of a career working with animals. As it stands right now, I'm working on transferring to Delaware Valley University to major in Zoo Science. Del Val is one of only two colleges in the country to offer Zoo Science as a 4 year major. (which is awesome) With a degree in that, I'd be able to work in any zoo/aquarium anywhere I would want to!

As far as writing and art goes, I'm getting back into it at a snail's pace. I get the itch to write but not the motivation. Since I've essentially stopped playing WoW, a lot of the inspiration I had for story-writing went away. I've always felt a bit cheesy writing fan fics anyway...

...I need to somehow unearth my old, old, old writings. Of the worlds *I* created. Worlds ruled by dragons. Maybe it's just as cheesy, but they were MY worlds, damn it. And if trash like Harry Potter and Twilight can become so popular...*shrug*

So that's that.

Valentine's day is this weekend.

Art and love, perhaps the same thing?

It's time to be more active on this. It's time to start arting again, both photography and writing. And it's time to stop caring about things that aren't important. That doesn't necessarily mean leaving them forever, because god knows I love you Warraven, but it's definitely time to return to the world. No matter how hard that will be. But hey...I'll have help.
